The traveler market wasn't finding them.

Dos Hermanas sits on Historic Route 66, on the I-40 line where most customers are passing through from out of state. That traffic starts with a Google search. Through 2025 the shop's unpaid search visibility had drifted to a low, so the people already driving past weren't landing on the site.

02 / What we did

Built for the road trip search.

A technical + on-page SEO pass and local schema so Google reads the shop correctly. Then a content cluster built around what the market actually searches for: Route 66 stops, the Tucumcari to Santa Rosa drive, Texas travelers heading west.

03 / What moved

Organic led the turnaround.

Since February, monthly visitors, sessions and page views are all up double digits. Organic search, the clearest read on SEO, is up +34% off its low. We send the owners a branded GA4 report every month, so the numbers stay in their hands, not ours.

The audience proves the thesis.

About 85% of locatable visitors come from outside New Mexico. Texas first, then Arizona. That's the I-40 traveler market showing up in the data, right where a Route 66 dispensary needs it.

We credit the win to the organic search reversal (trough vs. latest), not to total traffic, since some of the total is direct. Percentages only. The shop's revenue stays private.
